Intervention log skills -> show in skills tracker

Can the intervention log and skills tracker be combined? If I add a skill or drug to the intervention log then it doesn’t log that to the skills log.
This seems like duplication and I have to maintain a separate skills log on the skills tracker?
Can a thoracotomy be added to the skills log
