Recommend TQ Placement: 2–3 Fingers Above Wound

The March toolkit states TQ’s should be applied High and Tight, that is an Americanism. When I was teaching this in the British Army we advice two-three fingers above the wound so a second TQ can be applied if needed, this was based on clinical evidence also it was found that the first TQ may not be on tight enough due to the stress factors of the person applying it
